<div>What started off as a simple appendix removal procedure ended up with several complications (bowel perforation, reintubation 3x, oxygen in 70s, 4 blood transfusion) and several more procedures that had me near death numerous of times due to the “simple appendix surgery.”

<div>While in the hospital I had chest drains (pig tails), pelvic and abdomen drains due to fluid built up around my vital organs. Due to this complication, abscesses had formed by those drains and infection was found in my pelvic and abdomen. I’ve been septic since after the first appendix surgery and after being in the hospital for 6 long weeks, I was discharged on 9/25 without any blood cultures or CT scans. Well, that sent me back to the hospital via ambulance (911) the following day (less than 24 hours of being discharged) on 9/26 by the home care nurse. That ride back to the hospital led me to be admitted for another week away from my daughter. After, I was told that I remained septic with infection in my blood. As of now I am currently being pumped with heavy doses of antibiotics daily and will need to continue to do so for the next few weeks. All of this has caused my body to take a big hit. I've lost 20lbs, have muscle atrophy, and my whole body is very weak. Presently I am wheelchair and walker bound, with limited maneuvering and unable to carry my daughter.

<div>I am currently home, I have a long journey ahead of me. I have to administer antibiotics myself via IV for 12 hours a day (broken into three, four hour intervals). Within these last two months, I haven’t been able to work, I’ve gotten behind on rent, and bills &amp; I'm in a financial burden. I am overwhelmed thinking about where my next months rent will come from or how I will provide for my daughter. Thank you to anyone who has taken the time to read this through.
