Swing the Vote 2022!

Swing the Vote is a group of volunteers working to register new voters and get them to the polls in states with key races for the 2022 Midterm elections.

Our free voting packets include detailed instructions customized to the voter's county or college location about how to register and how to vote by mail, early or in-person on election day. The packets include all the forms the voter will need to register or request a ballot along with deadlines and stamped envelopes already addressed to their county voting office.

Our packets clarify the voting process, simplify voter ID instructions, and make sure new voters have straightforward, location-specific instructions and forms. These packets help students and new voters overcome huge obstacles to registering in states that have complicated ID and proof of residency rules, especially on campuses.

Over a period of 4 months in 2020, over 100 volunteers shipped and distributed 13,700 voting packets to new and existing voters in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, Arizona, Florida, North Carolina and Ohio.

All of our work in 2020 is funded with stamp and small money donations from our friends and family members including through a GoFundMe which raised over $13,000 in 2020.

Swing the Vote is back for the 2022 Midterms and sending packets to the key states of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. The 2022 Midterm elections in these states are key for the preservation of democracy, women's rights and voting rights in the years to come.

We are not affiliated with any non-profits, PACs or corporations although we have partnerships with several groups to distribute packets to potential voters.

We rely on the generosity of our friends and donors to continue this work. This fundraiser is being set up by one of the volunteers, Amanda Aaron. When you donate, your funds will go to GoFundMe, and after GoFundMe takes a small fee, they will be transferred into my private account. I will use this money to reimburse SwingtheVote's volunteers for the cost of stamps, printer ink, paper, other office supplies and shipping via Venmo or another method. All funds will be used for this effort.
