Swing for Ethan

The 4th graders in Mrs. Krusemark's class at Roosevelt Elementary in Mankato, MN are working on a project to raise funds to buy Ethan an adapted swing. Ethan will need a special swing that his family can wheel him, and his stroller or wheelchair, onto the swing so he can play.

When Mrs. Krusemark and her 4th grade students heard about Mrs. Linda Hanson's idea to collect aluminum cans, they asked if they could help. Since then, the class has created a video and hung up posters challenging the school and community to help bring in cans to raise the funds for Ethan's swing.

Cans are being collected on Thursday mornings at Roosevelt Elementary from 7:30am-8:05am outside the cafeteria door. However, if you would like to help and are
not able to donate cans, all contributions to this site will go directly to
Ethan's swing.

We have increased the goal in order to account for aluminum can drive. The momentum this has gained is overwhelming, thank you.
