Sweetest kind kitty needs surgery

I found this beautiful cat as a kitten in my moms backyard in 2009. He was one of three which i rescued and have kept. One of the three fell off my balcony, never to bee seen again. This was heartbreaking, especially since that day i was volunteering at orphans of the storm animal shelter. That left two, Boy and Figgy. These cats are incredibly loving, but Boy and i developed a bond i have never experienced with any animal. My father died in 2010 from Alzheimer’s and the cats were and have been a fond reminder of the time we found them in the yard. Memeorial weekend i noticed Boy having difficulty breathing. He received steroids which seemed to help shrink whatever was blocking his nasal passage. Two weeks ago he was unable to walk, stumbling at best. We immediately went to the vet to learn his blood sugar level was at 456 and the norm is 100. Diabetes is a result of steroids. Now we is receiving insulin twice a day. The problem is this has not corrected the tilted head, staggered walk and the problem breathing as he can no longer receive steroids. He will need an MRI and surgery to remove whatever mass that is causing his inability to breathe. Including today we head back to the vet as his nose is bleeding. The vet bills are already at $1500 , not including today and the MRI is going to be $2000 before we have surgery. I am pleading for help with my love. He is the sweetest loving kitty i have ever had, or known. I work full time and personally have no health insurance. I am the first person to give when asked. I am hoping my karma for this sweet animal will help to save him. These funds are needed immediately if he is to live. I cannot begin to thank anyone who can donate.
