Sweet baby Layla

This is our beautiful baby girl Layla Sky.  I am lucky enough that my best friend chose me to be her Godmother.  She has the most beautifully infectious laugh & smile in the world.  Layla was involved in a terrible accident where a vehicle ran over her. She has severe swelling in her brain. She has had to undergo a procedure that removed a portion of her skull to relieve pressure on her brain. She has a fractured eye socket, possible stomach and lung injuries. The bleeding into her lungs has stopped thankfully. She's being kept heavily sedated to give her brain a chance to heal. The neurosurgeons said the next few days are the most critical to see if we can get her through this.

So needless to say, Laylas mommy, daddy, and myself (momma 2) have basically moved into the children's hospital which is 2 hours from our home. She has a very long road ahead of her.

We are looking for any help with the expenses that insurance won't cover....hotel rooms, food, gas money, etc.

This beautiful little girl fills our life with so much love.  It is impossible to not fall in love with her amazing personality. She has the most incredible spirit and equally spunky attitude to match.  Please help us be able to stay with our little girl while she fights the most important battle of her life.  I would lay down my life and take her place right now if I could just like I would for any one of my children.  Layla might not be my blood but we are bound together by something stronger than that...the love she shows us every day.  Layla is what made us all a family.
