Swatt Funeral Fund

For those of you who knew Steve, you know that he was a giver.  He gave of his time, his energy, his creativity, his genius, his passion, his grumpiness,  and most of all his unconditional love.   He cared so much for work and others that he neglected his own needs, primarily making arrangements for when he was gone.  Karen and I wish we could afford to give him the send-off he deserves, but alas we can't without a lot of support.  We are asking on his behalf for your financial support. Please give what you can and don't feel guilty if you can not.  He would never have asked you for anything.  Thank you for even considering a donation. 

Details: I am in the process of petitioning the court to take control of his remains.  I should have that locked up by next week.  We plan to do a small graveside service shortly after that as he has been in limbo for way too long.  We will then plan a Catholic memorial mass at his church sometime after that.  He will be buried with his family at St. John's Cemetery in Stratford.  The memorial will be at St. Ann's in Bridgeport.

Note:  Our attorney suggested that we should mention that should we end up in charge of his estate, and should the estate have enough funds to clear all his bills, accounts etc., that we might be able to reimburse all those who donate.  This is by no means a promise, but we are hopeful that Steve can give us all one more gift when this is all over, that of returning your gift.
