SWAT Officer J. Rodriquez (ret) medical expenses

Donation protected
Cleveland Police Officer, Jonathan Rodriquez, paralyzed in the line of duty, needs our help. In June of 2020, Jonathan was with his SWAT team, responding to an emergency call, when a drunk driver struck their van. Several of the officers were trapped in the van. Jonathan suffered a spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed from the chest down and had to retire in September of 2021 at the age of 30. He is cared for, around the clock, by his wife and nurses with his two young children by his side.
This summer, Jonathan is scheduled to undergo a costly procedure that is expected to increase his quality of life. The Rodriquez family has exhausted all Bureau of Workers Compensation and medical insurance options to no avail, and the expense of this procedure will fall entirely on the family.
We hope that this goal of $75,000 will offset a portion of these out-of-pocket medical expenses. The Rodriquez family is very private and has not sought outside help, and this financial burden is too much to shoulder at this point.
Let’s rally together to support our hero on his journey as a community.
