On the evening of October 18th 2018 Ashley Swartz and her family experienced something that none of us are ever prepared for. Their home in Bar Nunn caught fire and ended in a total loss. With a household of two adults, four children and pets, this has been devastating for each of them.
Ashley, her boyfriend and their four children had lived in this house for just over two years. She had purchased the home in September 2017. All family members made it our safely, except one of their dogs.
Ashley has been a loyal employee of Taco Johns of Casper for over 6 years now. As her employer I can honestly say since day one, she has been a blessing. Ashley is so cheerful, even during this past week. She always goes out of her way to help every crewmember she comes in contact with, and has a bigger heart than I can explain. As part of our Taco Johns family, I want to make sure we do everything we can to help her rebuild her home and life.
We have started an Account at First Interstate Bank that can be donated to from any location in town under “Ashley Swartz Fire Relief Fund”, as well as the convenience of every Taco Johns location in Casper and Mills Wyoming. Feel free to visit any TJ’s lobby or through any drive through, and donate to Ashley and her family. I have also set up a Go Fund Me under the same name that is directly attached to this account for everyone’s convenience. All the proceeds of this fundraising will go to the demolition and purchase of a new home to place at her lot in Bar Nunn.
At this time she is receiving numerous donations of clothing. She also as of last night moved into a temporary home for a couple months. We will be looking for food, and furniture as we move forward. With four teenage boys, there is a lot of hungry mouths to feed. Thanks to Casper and all of its generous residents, this past few days has been amazing and heart warming. We thank you very much for your support and hope that you can help us further as we work towards our goal.
