My name is Amy Hecht and I am a founding member of The Nepal Adoptive Families Association - a group of families from all over the world with children adopted from Nepal. We are doing a variety of things to help with the relief efforts in Nepal including raising money to go directly to the children's homes and orphanages in Nepal. We are raising the money through Go Fund Me -- the money is going to be wired directly to the various homes and to NGOs in Nepal working solely to supply orphanages and children's homes with aid. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me and I will do my best to answer your concerns. Please help if you can and please share this message.
Last week a powerful earthquake of magnitude 7.8 devestated Nepal, killing hundreds of people. It struck between the capital Kathmandu and the city of Pokhara. A Nepali minister says there has been "massive damage" at the epicentre.
The Nepal Adoptive Families Association is collecting funds for the relief, rebuilding and support of the impacted orphanages in Nepal.
Your $5.00 will be invaluable. Give less if you prefer, more if you can.
All money collected will be given to orphanage relief and long term medical and nutritional programs for orphanages and children's homes in Nepal - no funds are used for admin fees etc.
Please help if you can.
