Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Southwest Chicago Homeless Services, and any donation will help make an impact.
SCHS operates in the Chicago Lawn Community, and serves over 1500 homeless or housing insecure community members on the south side of the city each year. The program provides counseling, housing placement, health services, toiletries, clothing, and meals for individuals in need.
If you plan to make a contribution to SCHS later this year, NOW would be a much more effective time.

SCHS is in need of significant funding ($11,000) to remove a buried heating fuel tank that has been determined in a recent environmental survey to be a hazard in need of immediate remediation.
