Thanks - GIVE - ing

This Thanksgiving, we are asking for your help (again!), in the effort to assist those in need, who are lacking basic human necessities: food, water, clothes...

The last several years have been challenging in many ways for all. The pandemic forced us to ask more of ourselves and our families than ever before. We also understand that asking for contributions during shaky economic times is a big ask... That is why it is so incredibly inspiring that year after year and regardless of conditions, kind people like you choose to Give Back.

As you know, there are folks in our community who would trade places with the worst of our scenarios; human beings who will spend this winter outside, alone in the cold, without family or sufficient basic needs.

We are raising funds to benefit the local (Philadelphia) homeless in advance of Thanksgiving. The money will be used for the purchase of clothing (coats, socks, warm hats, gloves) and likely food too. We will be purchasing these items in advance of Thanksgiving and distributing them on Thanksgiving morning 11/23.

The last 6 years, we teamed up with Charlie Doud and his awesome network of friends/ volunteers. It has been really special to be a part of the give back opportunity and to see how genuinely thankful people were to receive clothes/ food/ toiletries that YOU ALL HELPED SUPPLY! We look forward to replicating these efforts this year; thank you to those of you who donated!

Note: for those who are local and interested in donating winter jackets, hats, we ask that they be adult sizes.
