Suzi White

Suzi White was admitted to the hospital in Lake Havasu City February 2, 2018. At that time she was told she had Leukemia. Unable to be treated there she was transported via ambulance 4 hours away to Banner University Hospital Phoenix where she has remains hospitalized. At Banner she was told she has Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Suzi is fighting one of the biggest battles of her life. She has had several blood transfusions, blood clots, 2 brain bleeds, a temperature of 107, Pneumonia a week of continuous Chemotherapy and spent about 10 days in ICU. Currently she is fighting an infection she got at the hospital. Once Suzi is in remissions she will need a bone marrow transplant and continued treatments and care that could last 6 months or so and the rest of her life once stable. Suzi can’t go back home to Pagosa Springs, CO because of lack of cancer facilities needed for her care. Suzi is strong tough and very independent and is not one to ask for help. But her friends can! Suzis medical expenses are astronomical and of course not all covered by insurance and will be on going for a long time. Her sister Michelle traveled from Australia to be by Suzi’s side. The out of pocket for her to be there to help her sister is in the thousands. Committed to helping her sister she has lost her job by doing so. Little things like gas in the car traveling 1/2 hour each day to be there for Suzi add up. Suzi is unable to work and will probably not be able to return to her profession that she knows. Suzi has a very tough journey ahead of her and will be needing all her friends and families support so share this so we can help easy some of Suzi’s stress at least financially. Please help in anyway you can. I know Suzi and Michelle are very Thankful for all the well wishes, prayers and support that have already came Suzi’s way.
