Remembering Suzanne Konecny

Suzanne Konecny - Suzi to her friends and family - was known to be generous of heart and spirit, firm when she was right, shrugging it off with a laugh when she was not. She "adopted" so many people - friends, neighbors, friends of classmates of cousins from middle school - so many people became one of her kids.
Suzi loved her family passionately; if she had a hobby, it was her family. She was the first to offer help when someone needed it, the kind of person that breaks away from a great party game to offer lap blankets for chilled guests. She was always thinking of others, and from the outpouring of condolences we have already received, it is clear that she was loved by as many people as she gave love to, which is a tribe.
This Sunday, Suzi celebrated her 58th birthday, having a small brunch with her family. A few hours later, she passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. She was not ill, and from what we can tell it was a peaceful passing.
So many people have reached out to support us. We would like to have memorial service for her in her family's church, which is financially a little difficult at the moment because of the timing with death benefits. Donations made into this fund will go towards taking care of her remains, the memorial service, and securing a final resting place. Any amount is so very appreciated, please know that we feel the love everyone had for her, and we are sending it right back to you in this time of grief.
