I am setting up this page to help Suzanne and her family remove any or some of the financial burden associated with the costs of a funeral as well as the ongoing support of her mum Rose.
This post is to gain the support of Suzanne’s closest friends, past friends and people in and around Warrington as a way of asking for help to support Suzanne at time when all she should be doing is loving and being loved by her family and friends as well as enjoying her last days worry free and at peace.
Please help us raise as much money as possible to remove all worries for both Suzanne and her family.
Suzanne, Mum Rose and Sister Laura have been through immense tragedy over recent years, The loss of their Dad, Losing their beloved Son/brother a few years ago and in October last year lost their beloved Daughter/ Sister Claire.
Sadly Suzanne and her family were given the devastating news prior to Christmas that her kidneys had failed and due to numerous other health conditions no further treatment could be offered. The reality of being sent home and the news that she only had a maximum of 2 weeks to live were difficult for the family but like a true Shipley, Suzanne has defied all odds and is now 4 weeks on.
(I’ve never known anybody with as much courage and strength as Suzanne)
Suzanne’s background for those that don’t know Suzanne
Suzanne was diagnosed with Diabetes at the age of 14, a type 1 insulin dependent diabetic with neuropathy, retinopathy, a kidney transplant recipient (donated by her mum Rose) and a lower leg amputee after contracting sepsis in 2017.
Suzanne is one of the strongest people I know, a great sense of humours and joker around friends but her biggest passion is her family, who she adores, especially her Nieces and Nephew, Maisie Sienna and Carter.
As you can imagine, this poor family have been through the worst emotional devastating times and need all the support that they can get.
If additional donations come in over and above the funeral costs then my suggestion is that both Rose and Laura are treated to some time away with their family to re-cooperate, gather their thoughts and just relax their minds, god knows they deserve it. Both Laura and Rose have been carers and a great support for Suzanne and Claire in recent years, which financially has been a strain on all of them.
Suzanne – my last note to you and your family is this; Please don’t be embarrassed as I know you are, this funding is because you are loved and respected by all – Love always your closest and dearest friends, we just cant help loving you.
