Suzanne Shapiro

As many of you know, Suzanne Shapiro, who has given this firm 28 years of service and has served as mother hen of her floor for just as long, has been out of the office for the last few weeks.

Suzanne’s husband suffers from a serious heart condition and the treatment has led Suzanne and her husband to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.  Her husband has been in ICU since arriving at the Clinic, and is scheduled for major surgery on Tuesday, March 13th.  

Thus, it has taken two weeks of testing to get to a scheduled surgery and Suzanne’s husband will have several weeks of recovery before being able to travel home.  

Suzanne plans to stay with him until her PTO is exhausted in a few more weeks.  She will then return to Atlanta but fly back to accompany her husband home when he is able to travel.

Air fares and extended hotel stay for Suzanne have become very costly and we would like to relieve some of her financial burden.  So, we have set up this GoFundMe page to help.  If you are inclined to make a contribution, any amount would be appreciated.
