<div><strong>Tockwith - Our Village. Our Countryside. Our Heritage</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The place where nature and memory live side by side. Care for what is here. Celebrate what came before. Heritage is not only behind us. It shapes how we care for today.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Save Tockwith Village</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Formal planning proposals to build a further 1,100 homes in Tockwith are to be submitted to the North Yorkshire Council – but not yet.
</div>
<div>The proposed development would be located on the former Marston Moor airfield, adjoining the existing village boundary. Much of the site is currently used as productive agricultural land.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A development of this scale would approximately double the size of Tockwith, with significant implications for local infrastructure, public services, traffic, the environment and the character of the village.
</div>
<div>We have formed Sustainable Tockwith to oppose the plan when it is submitted.
</div>
<div>Please join us to help stop this from happening and help us to preserve our village.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>We Need to Act Now</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Once a planning application is submitted, the window to respond is short. To give our community the strongest possible voice, we need to be fully prepared from day one. That means:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>● Engaging an independent planning consultant
</div>
<div>● Reviewing technical documents as soon as they’re released
</div>
<div>● Preparing strong, evidence-based objections
</div>
<div>● Keeping the community informed and involved
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Without proper preparation, planning decisions can be made before residents have a fair chance to respond - we can’t afford to wait!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>What Your Donation Will Do</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your support will directly fund:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>● Professional planning advice
</div>
<div>● Specialist reports (traffic, environmental etc if needed)
</div>
<div>● Campaign materials and community outreach
</div>
<div>● Website and communication costs
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every contribution helps ensure this process is fair, transparent, and properly challenged.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please donate now. We expect the application to be submitted soon. By donating today, you are helping us act immediately — not react too late.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Early support also shows decision-makers that this is a serious, organised community effort, and a situation that a lot of people feel strongly about.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Please Support If You Can</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
