Be the voice of the People of Iran. Be on the right side of history by supporting this Woman-Led uprising against a regime that has stripped its people of the fundamental components of their human rights and has pillaged and raped Iran.

We believe that the days of the government of Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) are numbered. Since September 16, 2022, the day Mahsa Amini, a 22-year old young woman, was mercilessly beaten and murdered by the hands of the regime, Iranians have taken to the streets and risen up against the IRI. Despite the government’s desperate attempts to save their position, the People of Iran continue to rise against them, facing the brutal violence of the regime. Since that day, hundreds and thousand of others continue to be murdered, tortured and jailed.

We, the Iranian diaspora, have an obligation to support our fellow compatriots by supporting this movement; bringing world attention to the plight of our people.

The Iranian women and men; teenagers, students, merchants, doctors, nurses, otherwise “heroes” are putting their lives on the line every day, every hour and we, as Washington DC Iranians, feel that our duty is to bring attention to the inequality in our country; raising awareness of human rights issues in Iran, exposing the violations of the IRI, asking for regime change and holding the IRI officials accountable for the atrocities they have inflicted onto the people of Iran. We are “People”, who may have different ideologies, beliefs, interests, religions, etc. but have come together for one common goal and focus………… A Free Nation of Iran, where equality and human rights are practiced and a way of life.

In this, we have pledged to hold rallies and peaceful protests in Washington DC every Saturday until our people succeed in their fight. We believe our nonviolent resistance in the form of these weekly protests will prove to be effective.

We are proud to say that we have been able to hold weekly protests, since October 1, 2022, with the support of tens of volunteers. Thus far, our efforts have been financially subsidized by donations from our volunteers, friends and family. We are grateful for their support and we have some notable individuals that have also helped in these contributions, such as Mehrangiz Kar, Mehdi Noorbakhsh, Nazanin Boniadi, Faramarz Aslani, Rana Mansour, Fereidoun Farahandouz, Amir Hosssein Ganjbakhsh, and Manadana Khazraei and others. However, as our efforts grow and more of our people attend these rallies, the financial need to support the infrastructure of holding these rallies grows as well.

Our request is for your kind financial donation (big or small amounts are all welcome), to help us sustain the needs for these protests (i.e. Stage & Sound equipment, Travel Costs for out-of-area speakers, public lavatories, signage, security, etc.).
