USOs look to Koliada to help continue to grow, thrive, and educate their local communities. That is why SUSK will be sharing all funds raised this year with all the clubs that participated.

 

The Ukrainian Canadian Students’ Union was formed in December 1953, and is the coordinating body of Ukrainian-Canadian students at post-secondary institutions across Canada.

 

As part of our mandate, we uphold Ukrainian language and culture across Canada and work towards educating our members and non-members about Ukrainian culture. Koliada is a long held Ukrainian tradition that pre-dates Christianity in Ukraine. The magical carols sung bring blessings to the household, banish evil, and honour our ancestors.
