Meet Susi...
A beautiful grandmother, daughter, friend and employee. Susi's positive outlook on life and a drive to succeed in her job was always on display. She was very healthy and always told us her secret remedies for driving away colds, losing weight or just feeling more energetic.
Susi started feeling unwell around 2 months ago and had a pain in her side that wouldn't go away. Like Susi, she soldiered on at work and went to her appointments on days off. Always the dedicated staff member.
With weeks of waiting for results the news what not good.. Susi was diagnosed with 'adeno carcinoma metastatic cancer' which is likely to have started from the ovaries. The cancer has already spread to her lungs, liver and abdomen cavity. It also caused pneumothorax (fluids in her chest) which she has had drained.
As you can imagine this diagnosis not only shocked Susi and her family but all those around her.
She is waiting to now start chemotherapy to reduce the cancer. This will be followed by an operation, then chemotherapy again.
Anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Susi would know what a spiritual angel she is. As her employer her absence at work is visibly noticeable and I can't thank her enough for all her hard work to date.
This small gesture of a donation to Susi will help her pay her rent every week whilst she battles this cancer. She needs our help to not have to endure the stress of living expenses whilst she is not able to work.
