Susan Needs Help!

30 years ago I was diagnosed with cervical cancer that metatasized rapidly into my lymph nodes. I had surgery & 5 very long weeks of debilitating radiation therapy. It left me with 3 long term problems--- my teeth have rotted, my left leg is engorged with severe lymphedema and I have 1/4 of the normal amount of small intestine. The bowel situation is irreversible but I manage--with strict dietary needs and lots of paregoric .
My teeth on the other hand have slowly deteriorated. I have had 6 extracted and now need $20,000.00 in dental work to restore my mouth and have an adequate amount of chewing surface once again!
My leg--It took 4 years to find the right surgeon who can reverse a percentage of the severe lymphedema. My leg constantly aches and is very uncomfortable especially at night. I have to keep it wrapped with an elastic tubular stockingnette at night and double wrapped with special 'ace type bandage 'wrappings during the day.--Not the most attractive looking either---
I am scheduled for t he leg procedure mid-October in Chicago. I do not have insurance that will cover this surgery-It is all mircoscopic and will take over 5 hours.
As far as the dentalwork is concerned, as soon as I have half of themoney, I can get started!
I am single, oldest of 3. I have been taking care of my elderly parents--88 and 90 respectively . They moved and live with me. Being placed in the role of their primary caregiver has drasatically reduced the amount of time that I can work as a Realtor.
