Surviving cancer a day at a time!

I woke up one morning and felt pain in my right hip. After x-rays and blood testing I found out I had cancer! Bone cancer in my hip. My world shattered.. I had just given birth to my first born son less then a year ago.. and now this? The questions like why me? And what if? Went through my head. My husband stayed by my side, staying home from work. The cancer was very fast growing, I was in the intensive care unit for the most part of the 7 months till my surgery. I missed the 1st birthday of my little boy instead I spent it in the hospital. Finally the cancer was shrunk enough to perform the surgery.. i went in with both my fingers crossed.. and praying. When I woke up I found out that they had to remove my whole leg the pelvic bone. During the surgery they had injured the nerve to my other foot.. which made the foot paralyzed. I'm now in a wheelchair, in a little home with little doorways and hallways that my wheelchair cannot fit through. It's also a 2 floor home which I always need help getting to the bedroom which is on the second floor. And the kitchen is not made for a wheelchair. I would like to raise some money for the outstanding balance of the cancer medication we had to buy and a down payment for a home/renovations to make it wheelchair safe. So that I can be more independent and be able to move around the house more freely with my son. Since I'm more house bound now..
