Survived a Tornado- Need Help to Rebuild

Donation protected
I'm Lorraine Smith and my family (7 of us total)survived a mini tornado that was about 30ft wide on July 13,2022. We lost 90% of our belongings and have a long road ahead with cleanup and just getting thru this difficult time. We didn't have renters or homeowners insurance. Surprisingly, there was not alot of help available for our situation. My husband and I are on disability and doing the best we can. This is too much for our family  to handle.  We have faith in God that he will guide us in the right directions and touch the hearts of all that hear our story.
We worked 2yrs on our home to make it a nice place for our children to grow up in. We put all our money and time into this home. Three weeks after moving in we were starting to get settled in. I was anxiously awaiting for our oldest to start college this fall. I was saving money to take the youngest to Arkansas Children's Hospital to have surgery on July 19, 2022. Then we experienced a tornado that turned our world upside down. Our roof was ripped off our house with us in it! It hailed and rained for almost 2 hours after our roof was gone. The insulation soaked it up like a sponge. As I slept in my truck that night I could hear my ceilings collapse and I cried out to God to save us something to work with and show us a way to rebuild what we have lost. I never questioned why this happened. God needs not explain! I know that he will see us through this. Isaiah 61:3. "For those who grieve in Zion- to bestow onto them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning,& a garment of praise instead of a spirit of dispair"
Now, even as I tell our story I'm getting ready to drive to that appointment in Little Rock,Ar.
My husband remains behind to tarp our homes remains so that the weather doesn't take what we have left.
I have faith in God that he will get us thru this and help our story reach the right people. My hope is to rebuild what we started in June 2020.Its a long expensive road ahead of us. I pray that you find it in your heart to help us with our cause. If you cannot give, please pray for our family that we get the love, support and building materials we need to rebuild
I believe there is power in prayer and God's will is everlasting.
