Surround Sarah with Love, Hope and Healing

With heavy hearts and hopeful spirits, we’re reaching out on behalf of our beloved Sarah. She needs our help.

Last year, Sarah was diagnosed with breast cancer. True to her nature, she faced it with quiet courage, choosing to protect those around her while navigating it with strength, grace, and her typical generosity of spirit and resilience. Most didn’t know — not because it wasn’t hard, but because she was determined to keep showing up for others.

Now, the cancer has progressed to Stage 4. It has spread to her liver, bones, and most distressingly, her lungs — turning every breath into a battle.

Sarah is currently in hospital. Just yesterday, doctors were able to drain 1.6 Litres of fluid from her lungs, offering her some long-awaited relief after weeks of discomfort. The decline has been sudden and heartbreaking to witness, and yet, even now, her biggest concern is her loved ones. That’s the kind of soul she is. One who holds others with care and consideration even while she is suffering.

Sarah has always been fiercely independent, a devoted mother, a supportive friend, a woman of unbelievable talent who brings beauty to everything she touches. She's been so strong that even this share felt like a lot. But this journey is beyond what one person can carry alone — physically, emotionally, and financially.

While the current medical focus is on comfort, we haven’t lost hope. There are still possibilities, integrative and naturopathic treatments, healing therapies, specialized care, and even options abroad that could offer more time, more peace, and more support. Unfortunately, they come at a cost, after a year of very limited ability to work.

Con il cuore pesante ma lo spirito pieno di speranza, ci rivolgiamo a voi a nome della nostra amata Sarah. Ha bisogno del nostro aiuto.

L'anno scorso, a Sarah è stato diagnosticato un tumore al seno. Fedele alla sua natura, lo ha affrontato con un coraggio silenzioso, scegliendo di proteggere chi le stava intorno, affrontando tutto con forza, grazia e la sua consueta generosità d’animo e resilienza. In pochi ne erano a conoscenza — non perché non fosse difficile, ma perché lei era determinata a continuare a esserci per gli altri.

Ora, purtroppo, il cancro è progredito allo stadio 4. Si è diffuso al fegato, alle ossa e, cosa più dolorosa, ai polmoni — rendendo ogni respiro una lotta.

Sarah è attualmente in ospedale. Proprio ieri, i medici sono riusciti a drenare 1,6 litri di liquido dai suoi polmoni, offrendole un sollievo tanto atteso dopo settimane di disagio. Il peggioramento è stato improvviso e straziante da vedere e, nonostante tutto, la sua più grande preoccupazione resta per le persone che ama. Questo è il tipo di anima che è: una che si prende cura degli altri con amore e delicatezza, anche mentre soffre.

Sarah è sempre stata incredibilmente indipendente, una madre devota, un’amica presente e una donna di talento straordinario, capace di portare bellezza in tutto ciò che tocca. È stata così forte che persino condividere tutto questo ci è sembrato difficile. Ma questo cammino è troppo pesante da affrontare da sola — fisicamente, emotivamente e finanziariamente.

Anche se ora l’attenzione medica è rivolta soprattutto al comfort, non abbiamo perso la speranza. Esistono ancora possibilità: trattamenti integrativi e naturopatici, terapie di guarigione, cure specialistiche e persino opzioni all’estero che potrebbero offrirle più tempo, più pace e più sostegno. Purtroppo, tutto questo ha un costo — e dopo un anno di capacità lavorativa molto limitata, è diventato impossibile farcela da soli.

È per questo che chiediamo umilmente il vostro aiuto.

Ogni donazione, ogni preghiera, ogni messaggio dal cuore è una benedizione immensa che ci sostiene in mezzo a questo momento travolgente.
