Surprise Nux! Medical Fund

Little Nux has been missing for just about a year, she escaped out of our new house right after we moved in and two days before our wedding.  She's such a shy, skittish kitty we couldn't find her.  Over the past year, I had seen her outside twice, when I was leaving for work around 1:30am.  It was so heartbreaking to see her and not be able to catch her, but at least I knew she was doing somewhat okay.

Queue yesterday, November 6th, when I wake up to a text message and call from Team Found Animals, that she had been found wounded and they scanned her and found our info from her chip!  ALWAYS CHIP YOUR PETS!
Rushed over to the shelter who found her and they informed me she had multiple gashes and cuts, missing one canine and multiple fractures to her hip/left leg.  They suspected a car hit her.  I was able to take her to a vet and she is currently being healed up and waiting for her surgery to close up her wounds and get her hip operated on.  What a reuinion!

Nux, our little wargirl, is back and we want to do everything we can to make sure she's taken care of!
