Wedding Surprise for Matt

When it comes to planning our wedding, Matt is happy for me to make the choices. Flowers, colours, venue, minister, country...he wants me to have the wedding that I want.
The ONLY thing he really wanted, besides having his family here, was for his best friend Dima to be his Best Man.
So, shortly after popping the question to me, he popped the question to Dima. I said "yes", but Dima had to say "no".
Dima and his wife Zhenya, along with their 2 young children, are missionaries from Ukraine. They serve with YWAM in the UK. Like everyone in YWAM, they work without earning a wage and have to raise finances for their ministry and living costs. So, as much as Dima would love to come, it isn't financially possible for him to make the trip.
We've been blessed with many international friendships over our years serving in YWAM (16 years for me and 13 for Matt). At times like this, it's bitter-sweet because there are people all over the world that we would love to share this day with who will not be able to come. And we know that many of you would love to be able to join us, but will be unable to.
If that's you, if you wish that you could stand with us and support us on this special day, I'm asking you to show your support to us in a different way. Would send Dima to stand on your behalf?
I can think of no better wedding present to Matt than to surprise him with a Best Man. Luckily Matt is not on any form of social media, so I'm hoping to pull this off without him knowing.
I have estimated that $1700 should cover Dima's flight, visa, and wedding outfit costs.
We would be incredibly grateful for any gift that you could give towards meeting this goal.
