Help fund a surprise dream trip for Stephanie to celebrate her 60th birthday!
Two years ago, mom told me she wanted to take a special trip to celebrate her 60th birthday. I asked her where she wanted to go and she replied, "Iceland." A year ago, it came up again and I asked her if she still wanted to go to Iceland, and she replied in typical mom (Stephanie) fashion and replied, "I realized that Iceland is COLD. I wanna go to Belize and drink Pina Coladas on the beach."
As long as I have known my mom, she has never travelled just for her. She's travelled to visit her children, other family members, and I only really know her to "treat" herself by fixing her house or car. I know my mother would love to travel just to see the world, but I don't think she would ever think to treat herself to something like that. She will always prioritize other things ahead of this dream.
This year, my siblings and I are prioritizing a trip for mom for her! We will be covering as much of the costs as we can, but know we can fund even more of the costs of a trip for her with your help. From the cost of a Pina Colada at the beach, to fare from the airport, any amount will be a much appreciated gift to her.
Mom always thinks of others with any small amount of disposable income she might have, and I hope that with that same spirit we can come together and make sure mom gets that dream trip this year.
The goal of $3,000 should be enough for Stephanie to travel somewhere wonderful for 7 days. If we hit that goal before Janaury 21st, let's keep going! Additional funds can ensure mom doesn't have to travel alone.
