Please help us help as many people as possible! We are not looking to profit or even break even for our efforts to help healthcare workers. The goal is to help as many people as possible!
The CEO at Ace Designs, Inc., Joe Hurwitz, in Bristol, PA has personally funded the production of surgical shields to be donated to healthcare workers in our area. The original plan was to produce 2,000 units and donate to local facilities. As we reached out, the need was so great - more and more facilities and individuals reached out looking for any kind of protection for themselves, their loved ones and co-workers. In response to this need, Joe began to procure more materials to increase that production from 2,000 to 10x that. On hand, we have enough to complete 11,500 units. We have already received SO MANY generous donations of necessary supplies however some materials are not so readily available. We have watched the pricing of the plastic sheets increase 50% in some cases due to the shortage of materials.
Joe is easily the kindest and most generous person that I have ever known. In the 12 years that I have worked for him, I have learned to be grateful and help others whenever possible. He makes everyone he comes in contact with a better person for having known him. I would love to help recoup some of the original material costs and also assist in procuring the balance of materials that are needed to continue producing. Any money that is collected will go solely to production of these surgical shields
