Surgical funds for Stephen

For those of you who know Stephen you know he is always ready to put aside work and day to day family issues when an emergency arises, He is always there to go on the search party looking for the missing child or adult with dementia, He will drop everything and load his search and rescue gear in the truck to help save someone from a natural disaster, as He did with the Texas floods, even after spending weeks there was ready to load back up the following weeks when Florida had issues.  He has given selflessly time and time again but now he is in need of some people to return the favor!   A few days ago he was severely injured and has had arterial damage to his left hand along with tendon damage that will if not repaired cause him to loose the use of two or three fingers.  He unfortunately has no health insurance and the Doctors and Hospital are not willing to do anything past sew it up and send him home without a $50,000.00 down payment on the surgery  with a total cost in excess of $100,000.00.  He really has very little cash on hand and if the surgery is delayed for more than a week or two the damage will be permanent.

We want to see if we can raise the funds to get things started as he will surely end up jobless if he looses the use of his hand.  Several of his friends have talked about starting this off but as yet no one has so it is time for all of you to step up and help him get the hand fixed so he can continue to help others!
