Endometriosis Surgery

I feel very nervous and strange for doing this, and I've had conflicting advice on whether or not to do it, but I'm going to give it a shot.

I've had endometriosis for over ten years now.  I've had two surgeries in the past and have tried literally everything to manage the pain that it causes, and nothing has truly helped.  

Endometriosis can only be successfully treated by a surgeon specialized in excision surgery and this is the next step for me.  I am choosing to go to a highly skilled specialist that will be able to surgically remove all of my endometriosis.  This is not something a regular gynecologist is able to do and that is why my past two surgeries have failed.

Many of you who spend time around me know that the past few months have been really tough.  I am in pain daily and it's been very challenging.  I am ready to finally have one last surgery and am so excited at the idea of not living with this pain anymore!
