Surgery Fund for Iraqi Refugee

A friend of ours, who has asked to remain unnamed, is an Iraqi refugee living in Jordan. If you ask anyone he knows they will tell you that he brings joy and inspiration to the lives of everyone he meets and truly deserves the best, however due to his refugee status his options are very limited.
Recently he has gotten very sick, experiencing a number of symptoms but the most concerning is that he instantly loses conciousness for a matter of minutes. This happens on a daily basis, usually more than once per day.
After collecting several opinions from various doctors, the final diagnosis is that he has an infection in his inner ear, sitting close to his brain, and if he does not undergo surgery as soon as possible it could enter his brain and open up the possibility of much more serious complications such as Meningitis.
The doctor suggested that he undergo surgery the following day, but he was forced to postpone the surgery until he can get the money to pay for it. Due to his refugee status, his employment opportunities are little to none, and he has not been able to save money over time. Now, due to his medical condition he was forced to leave his job.
Doctors have said that his operation will cost around 3500 Jordanian Dinar, and we have factored in that he may need a bit extra for post-surgery expenses until he can return to work.
We need your help. If you have any funds to spare, and are willing to give to a truly deserving cause, we ask that you keep our friend in mind. You may not know him personally but believe me, if you knew him, you would do all that you could to help make this happen for him.
