Thanks to efforts of Volunteers in 2015, St Francis was taken off the streets of Houston's fifth ward and brought back from the brink of death. Since her miracle recovery, Frannie has been full of life and plays to the fullest everyday. Frannie has developed a partial tear in cruciate ligament in her right rear leg. Frannie has been scheduled for surgery on the 22nd of May 2019 at the Tazewell Pike Animal Clinic to repair this tear. Dr David A. Hicks DVM, PhD will be preforming the surgery. Frannie is facing a 12 week recovery time period, with the first six weeks of recovery being "on leash." St Francis and her miraculous story has touched thousands of hearts across the world. Frannie continues to be the light of our lives and my wife and I will do what we can to make sure her life continues to be full of happiness. We were informed the cost of the surgery would be a minimum of $3,500. To those that can donate, I will try provide updates and photos of her recovery. If you cannot donate, we understand, but please, mark your calender's and say a prayer for our fur baby on that date. Pray saved her once and it will save her again. My wife and I are lucky to have St Francis/Frannie in our lives.
