Charlie the shot & run over tux cat

This cat is one of many forgotten strays. He's lived in front of a liquor store his whole life. Despite the lack of touch and affection, he remained a kind and gentle cat. One day, somebody thought it would be okay to shoot him with a pellet gun. Luckily for him, it caused no long term damage, only pain. Unfortunately, this isn't the only undeserved misfortune to fall on him. He was also run over. Nobody helped him. By a miracle, he healed and was able to walk again. Well, on July 15th, a few weeks after I had met him, I went to give him some food after the liquor store closed. I was met with the sight of his little frame laying to the side by a fence. He lifted his head and tried to get up, but couldn't. His legs kept falling underneath him, and he gave up. We took him home and reached out for help, and a lovely lady named Monica arranged for him to be looked at. He had been rolled over by a car, yet again. He combo-tested negative, and xrays revealed multiple fractures. The doctors are optimistic, but our dilemma is finance. The vet attempted to fix him up for around $4,000 WITH discount applied, but there have been some complications. His leg screws have become loose, and he's had persistent diarrhea. He's been cold & unable to maintain his core temperature without blankets and a heater. He's making improvements, but in order to keep helping him we still need your help! We still need tests and diagnostics along with continued care from Sylvan Veterinary Clinic. He needs extensive dental work as well as physical therapy.. we need everybody's help. He deserves a chance! This sweet little guy deserves a stroke of good luck for once. Please help us make that happen.
