Surgery for Mycroft
Donation protected
Hello! Meet Mycroft! Mycroft is an uncharacteristically energetic, predictably loving 6YO English Bulldog.
Our sweet boy had a freak accident getting out of the car on Tuesday, the 28th, and after being rushed to the ER, we were told he tore his CCL (ACL tear in humans) and requires surgery, which was estimated at $5,986.27.
Without surgery, arthritis will quickly develop and he will live in extreme pain; he will have a very poor quality of life. With surgery, his chances of recovery are 80-90% and with proper rehabilitation and lots of love he'll be back to himself!
Even though bulldogs have a short life expectancy and are prone to health issues, Mycroft has always been in perfect health! He's full of life, he's just starting his relationship with his human sister and we're not prepared to see him live his life in pain.
We wish we could shell out all the money needed immediately, but due to employment impact because of the Covid19 pandemic, a one year old, and the accidental nature of what happened, we just don't have the budget to support such a significant unforeseen cost.
We're relying on you, our friends, family and fellow animal lovers to help; if you can. I know a lot of people say this, but literally every penny will help us. It's breaking out hearts, me, his Mama, especially to see him in such pain. Unable to run, and jump, and tumble, like he always does. He's just an unusual Bully; he has the energy of a 2lb. lapdog, and he sure thinks he is one! Our little boy is suffering, and we're hoping to get him into surgery soon!
Thanks so much for your help, love and support!
