Surgery for my dog, Ricky

Ricky has a large mass on his neck that is affecting his way of life. He's not as chipper and energetic. He's laying around all day moping rather than just laying around all day and playing. Ricky has to have surgery to remove this lump because it's most likely on his thyroid according to a specialty vet. BUT, going under anethesia for him is risky. He has a stage 5 heart murmur and has a much higher risk of complications during surgery. He's now on meds to help with his heart and we're returning to the vet in 2 weeks to see how they're taking. His heart is still healthy otherwise according to another specialty vet - a cardiologist. He could have another 5-7 years in him if he can get to this surgery and pull through. I've already spent close to $1,700 on him going to these appointments with my regular vet, then to a surgeon, and then a cardiologist, having tests done and starting him on meds. I ask you, humbly, will you help my best friend, Ricky, have a fighting chance? If 1,000 of my facebook friends and/or their friends pitched in just $5, Ricky would have his entire surgery paid for and the tests we've done so far. There will be more as he'll be on heart meds for the rest of his life, but I know he's my responsibility and he's my best friend so I'll do everything in my power to help him live his best life.
