Surgery for Crutches the guinea pig

Hey all. I recently adopted 3 rambunctious 5 month old guinea pigs. While playing one day, the pig I would come to name Crutches suffered an open toe fracture. Despite meticulous irrigation, daily dressing, and antibiotics, Crutches's entire paw became necrotic. His first operation was on Friday September 23, where they tried to debried as much dead tissue as they could, in hopes that viable tissue would grow in over time. Unfortunately, I got the call today (Tuesday September 27th) that the paw was no longer viable, and he will have to have it removed, lest he succumb to infection. Between emergency fees, inpatient stays, outpatient visits, I am completely financially drained and am begging for any small contribution you could make so I can give this bright young boy a shot at a good life.
