Medical bill for a good man

Donation protected
Last month my husband was in Tyler, TX training for a new job when he pulled his car over and ran out to help a woman whose car had stalled at a busy intersection. In so doing, he lost his footing and fell, shattering his left arm.

He then proceeded to get up and push her car to safety and once enough people came to help her, he went to the hospital and had to have arm reconstructive surgery.

The surgeon said it was the worst break he had ever seen. It resulted in several plates, screws, hardware, a bone donation, and more pain than my husband has ever known.

This came at an awful time for us because his benefits from his new job have not taken effect yet and we are still trying to recover financially from him being out of work for 2 months previous to his new job.  He has had complications from the surgery, including an infection that has caused him to miss work. We found out that the bills now total over 30K, of which we have to pay ourselves.

We have had many wonderful friends, family, and community members donate to our fund but we are far from our goal. If you can please share this page and donate if you are able, any small amount is greatly appreciated.  This is taking a huge toll on our family. My husband has a big heart and always helps others before himself. It took us many years to save for our first house in College Station but now with all the bills and trying to recover from him not working we are worried and do not want to lose our house.

Thank you so much for everyone's help, donations, kind thoughts, and prayers.
