Bottom Surgery and Recovery Fund for Sakura

I am a trans woman who has had a goal for the last 22 years to comfortable in my own body and I had set out last year to achieve this goal. As I have reached many mile stones in my transition this is one the major ones that I had started to put in motion in July of 2019.
As many of my friends know I have never been one to reach out and ask for help and have been one to put others before myself even if I was left with nothing for myself and I was happy that I could help them get through their tough times.
Sadly my situation has changed with my father moving to Chicago and leaving me here having to cover a few gaps as he's no longer able to assist by living with me through my surgery and helping with the costs of recovery like rent, food and other basic needs. While he is still supporting me I am now having to divert funds that were intended for my surgeries to my basic living expenses.
I am going for bottom surgery which is scheduled for April 7, 2020 and I have set this in motion as of July of 2019. With the average wait list being a year to three years and already thousands of dollars spent towards this goal on April 7, I am reaching out for support.
I have my airfare paid for, surgery costs paid for, and am short just a little bit for car and hotel which has already been booked and will be paid for when I arrive April 5th and April 16th.
I am short on this expense roughly $1,000 and for the following months of May and June, I will be short some income as I will not have enough PTO/Extended Leave to cover at least one week and will be on short term disability for 2-3 weeks at 66% of my pay. While my costs will be less since I wont be out and about or going to work I will still need some support.
My second surgery will cost me roughly $2,125 and this is provided I have no other medical visits from July 1 to the time of pre authorization of my second surgery. This surgery will take place sometime in the September to November time frame. My second surgery will be a minor revision and correction to any complications from the first surgery and to finish making everything look pretty. I know that this cost in general will be less but this is worst case scenario. For this I am also anticipating about $800 in travel expenses and I will have enough PTO and Extended Leave to cover my time away from work.
I am looking out towards my friends, family and community for help in my time of need to assist me with my surgery costs. As a friend once posted on Facebook, it's hard to ask for help when you've always been the one to help others. Thank you for any assistance you are able to give to help assist with this.
