Surface Pro 4 for Aaron

This operation is geared towards friends, coworkers and former lovers (Dan) of Aaron Miller. As you know, back in 2014 Aaron suffered a debilitating stroke that left him paralyzed and with limited function.
He cannot type. His communication with the outside world tends to be limited to voice recognition software, which almost exclusively runs on windows. It's that consideration that keeps me from simply giving him my iPad.
When all things are considered, it would seem a MIcrosoft Surface Pro would suit him best. Portable, usable with one arm, able to run all his speech recognition software and a number of other things that would improve his life.
At the moment, Aaron has no idea this page exists and I'd like to keep it that way. I'm hoping we can raise enough money and I can surprise him when I visit him in about a week and a half. Whatever we can't raise I plan to pay for myself out of pocket, but It'd be great if you guys who know and love Aaron could kick in a few dollars to make his life easier.
