Since starting A Caspian Production, it has been my personal
dream to create a forum where teen girls can (as Oprah says) learn to live
their best life.
The desire to create this forum is a passion of mine because of my own story. Growing up in Idaho, I never would have dreamed of having the experiences I have had without the help of several key people. I was awkward, shy and did not have much self-esteem. But these people, a history teacher, debate instructor and finishing school owner, helped launch me on a path to success and helped me gain my own voice.
I'm creating a girls conference called SUREFIRE. The inaugural event will take place at Hangar 8 in Santa Monica, CA on Saturday October 12, 2013.
What SUREFIRE intends to do is take those serendipitous moments and turn them into conscious programs and events which will enrich the lives of the girls who attend, much as my life was enriched by these individuals.
The programs will be driven by what girls want to discuss, which can be everything from serious issues to fashion and fun. To meet these varied interests, SUREFIRE will partner with respected organizations and brands, and provide them as a resource both at conferences and online directories throughout the year.
It is my dream that this event, become a positive spark in the lives of teen girls - one which can inspire them to boldly explore their world and find their own voice.
