Suprimi Cancer Fundraising

My name is Suprimi Antoni. I am 59 years old with a loving husband who works in Singapore on local terms, and two adult children starting life in their early 20s. I was first diagnosed with a small endocrine cancer in May 2023, but which has metasized into lung cancer stage 4.

The first two courses of chemotherapy (25+ chemo treatments) did not contain the cancer, which has now spread to the lympnodes. I am now about to start radiotherapy at S$35,000 per treatment (4 weeks), which we simply can’t afford. As you can imagine, our personal resources have now been exhausted.

As non-permanent resident (PR) foreigners, we must pay full fees in the Singapore health system, whilst our health insurance covers only a small part of it. In the first year, even nothing had been covered.

As a housewife, I didn’t have personal insurance, as my husband previously worked for a corporation for 30 years and we were well looked after until they started downsizing after covid and the cancer came after we started making the transition to a new job with a local amazing startup which had done all it can for me.

I have set up this gofundme account for friends, family and anyone who may be able to help me raise money to defray some of the cost of my fight against cancer.

I love life, I have enjoyed it to the fullest and want the best chance to survive, if possible. I have also always volunteered my time to help social causes, which I do to this day, and will continue to do so whatever the outcome.
