Support the Levinsky Family

As many of you may have heard, our friend, Andy Levinsky, was involved in a serious accident on January 26th, when a driver was traveling the wrong way on I-40 and collided into Andy's vehicle. The driver of the other car suffered fatal injuries, and Andy was severely injured. Andy suffered substantial damage to his foot with near severance at his ankle, broken ribs, broken vertebrae, sternum and hips. Thankfully, Andy is expected to make a full recovery, however this road will be long, expensive and difficult for Andy, his wife, Jamie, and seven year old daughter, Jacy.

We are happy to report that Andy's medical treatments and surgeries to date have been successful, but given the long journey ahead, many of us-especially those of us who don't live close enough to personally help with childcare, meals, and other "in person" support-have been wondering what we can do to help. By donating through this site, we hope to give Andy and Jamie some peace of mind and let them know they have a broad support system on which to lean during this difficult time. I have personally known Andy for over 25 years, and I have never known him to ask for help of any kind. Therefore, I worried that directly offering to do something wouldn't do any good. So, please know that neither Andy nor Jamie know that we are starting this fundraising effort. Had they been asked, they would likely have shut it down from the outset. However, that's what old friends are for...they don't have to be asked to help, they just do.

Any amount you feel compelled to give will help to offset costs and expenses associated with any downtime from from work, medical procedures, childcare, etc. Any monetary gift or words of encouragement or support are greatly appreciated.  Thank you in advance from Andy's many friends, including Greta Goldsby, Brooks Walker and Chris Little
