Supermom & Her Fight: Our Fight

Our Mother. It’s difficult to express the amount of love a son has towards his mother. Now imagine that times four. Our Mom married a wonderful man named Joe and raised us boys into men. Her name is Arlene, but we will call her Supermom here for short.
She has been continuously teaching us love, courage, and most importantly respect for our entire lives. She is the most tenacious, selfless woman we have ever witnessed — you know, the type of person that will reach out and help someone, because it is the right thing to do. Envisioning all of the moments where she made an impact on numerous people, we can only hope that this energy returns back in her direction.
Recently, she is not feeling well and visits the hospital for what she thinks is going to be a quick trip for some antibiotics. She tells the doctor the pain she is experiencing and he insists on running some tests to be safe. Turns out, she has a collapsed lung. She is immediately admitted into ICU where she stays for almost 3 weeks.
As if that isn’t enough, a spot is found in her lung and soon she is diagnosed with Lung Cancer.
As you can assume, this hits like a ton of bricks. Although she receives such devastating news, she is holding her head higher than ever and therefore we will all follow with that same mentality. She, no, WE, all of the people that she influences and has influenced over the years, are in her corner for this fight!
She has spent over a month out of work and the medical costs are already beginning to accumulate. Not to mention, we have to wait for the lung to fully heal before we begin the treatment. We are hoping to start this week. We are asking that everyone join in our fight to relieve some of her worry of the inevitable compiling of medical bills.
Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated. We are most thankful for your generosity and support in our Supermom’s fight!
