Support Samaya: Destination London

My name is Samaya Roary, I am a rising senior at UNCG. I am pursuing a Full Honors Double Major B.A. in Political Science (Pre-Law) and Communication Studies. At UNCG to obtain full honors you must complete both International Honors and Disciplinary Honors.

A component of International Honors is a study abroad experience. I have been accepted to study abroad at the London School of Economics which has an 8.9% acceptance rate. I have completed all other requirements however, this is an extremely costly endeavor in which I am unable to receive funding from my school.

I have taken great strides to obtain additional sources of revenue including applying for scholarships and working additional hours through on-campus jobs while maintaining a 3.97 GPA with an 18 credit hour course load.

I have launched this campaign to reach out to you - my family members, my friends, and my community members who have supported my journey and growth thus far. I would greatly appreciate if you would support me in any amount to embark on this extraordinary opportunity!
