Snelling Ave Fine Wines is located at the heart of the midway area. It has been a locally family owned for the last 40 plus years, my family for the last five years. On May 28th of this year, around 12:30 pm, we watched looters broke into our store and took everything right in front of us. Tears were dripping down our faces as we couldn't watch anymore and decided to leave the area. At 8:30 pm that night, we got a call from the St. Paul police saying that somebody burned our store. Everything were either damaged or/and burned. The entire interior will need a new remodeling.
We will not be able to bring our store back, not even close to where it was before. But together, we will rebuild and continue to serve our community in the near future.
