Support Michele’s New Life:

We all face challenges at some point in our lives. How we overcome those challenges is where this story begins.
Growing up in a less than desirable family has had a dramatic impact on my sisters and me. At this time, my middle sister Michele is rising above her challenges and has created a new opportunity for herself. It has been a long process spanning many years and required great tenacity.
I am very proud of her as she sets out on a new and exciting path as a Peer Support Specialist in Denver CO. However, the journey from New York, where she has lived all her life, is not easy. Starting a new life in a new city is best with help and guidance. I have come forward to assist my sister in a variety of ways because I want her to succeed.
In order to begin anew, she needs capital to secure a new residence by December 1st, with her adorable, extremely well-behaved licensed therapy dog, Zoey. There are costs surrounding the move cross-country by car, gas, food, lodging. That is where you can come in.
We anticipate the cost of a rental property, with first, last, January rent plus pet deposit will be in the neighborhood of $2600. Renting a moving cube to transport minimal belongings cost $1500. Since her new career begins on December 11th on a part-time basis for 2 weeks, there are additional costs to make sure she can survive until she goes full time and receives her first few regular paychecks.
Once we arrive in Denver on November 21st, yes, I flew out to NY to help her move and take the drive out West, we need to stay at an Extended Stay place while looking for her new home. Cost approximately $800. We are hoping to only stay there for about 8 days or less. The obstacle is that this is during the US Thanksgiving week/long weekend, unfortunate timing for an awesome opportunity but we are very hopeful to find a rental.
* The total request for Go Fund Me (Support Michele’s New Life) is $6000 US = $7600 Canadian. I am funding Michele with my Canadian dollars however the costs are US dollars.
We would be very appreciative of any funds you can provide. Your generosity is for an extremely good cause, to help a beautiful soul find her happiness with a new beginning, in a new home with a new career with her amazing puppy Zoey.
