Louis was in a motorcycle accident near Fire Lake on his way home to Labrador City on August 9. He was transported to the Health Sciences Center in St. John's where he has undergone several surgeries and continues to recieve care. Currently Louis has been able to non-verbally communicate with family and has regained movement of his arms. He has a long road to recovery and every donation is greatly appreciated.

UPDATE: Louis has made great improvments and is now strong enough to be transferred to a hospital in Montreal where he can be with family during his recovery. Unfortunatly this transfer is going to cost approximatly 20K. All donations recieved have been a fantastic help in reducing this cost for the family.
