Help preserve the Tibetan Yoga Teachings and support Khenpo Lama Migmar! Betty Riaz will teach a will teach a 75 minute SPA class to the beautiful live Table performance followed by a 30 minute dharma talk given by Lama Migmar. After class, please stay for reception with festive refreshments. Mingle with Lama Migmar and fellow students while bidding on unique silent auction items.
In addition to being the Harvard Buddhist Chaplain, Lama Migmar is the Founder and Director of Sakya Institute for Buddhist Studies, a 501 (c)3 non-profit. All of your donations are 100% tax deductible to the extent allow by law. The Sakya Institute offers a full spectrum of programs designed to support personal growth and transformation to communities in Massachusetts and around the country. Many of us have already been transformed by Lama Migmar's teachings and we ask for your support so that he can continue his amazing work. Our goal is to raise $10, 000 which will support one month of operational expenses for the Sakya Center. At the Sakya Institute, Lama Migmar offers many teaching, meditation and yoga retreats in addition to providing Blue Flower Calm Abiding Meditation, Mangalam Akasha Rasayana Yoga, Mangalam Svapna Yoga and Mangalam Yantra Yoga. These authentic practices have been passed down fro enlightened Indian yogi, including Mahasiddha Virupa, Naropa and Gorakshanath through an unbroken lineage. They have also trained interns from Harvard Divinity School and in 2014 they are planning to launch a leadership program based on training of ethics, mindfulness and wisdom.
