JunuRai Family Blessing Fund

Donation protected
On Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 8, a school bus hit two Bhutanese/Nepali refugees in O’Fallon, Illinois leaving JunuRai dead and DB Magar with multiple injuries in the hospital.  Junu and DB both worked at a manufacturing company in O’Fallon and were just leaving work when this accident occurred.

Junu leaves three orphaned teenage children,Bibek, Benita and Bijay at home in South City St Louis.  Junu’s husband and father to the children died in Nepal about 8 years ago.  She brought the children to the United States through the United Nations High Commission for Refugees, for both political and religious persecution.  This past Saturday, Junu lead a Bhutanese/Nepali house church meeting and spoke of the uncertainty of life, but also of the assurance of her faith in Jesus Christ.

She had very limited English language, no formal education and lived a simple life style.  The children have no means now to support themselves, pay for their education or pay for funeral and burial expenses.  This fund is being established to assist with immediate needs of burying Junu, paying for the children’s daily expenses and funding to continue to allow them to go to school, rather than work full-time.

Thank you.
