Jackson's Medical Bill Fund

The evening of September 14th, 2014 is a date that forever changed the life and Jacquelyne "Jackson" Sanderson-Harris forever. She suffered a brain aneurysm that triggered a stroke and then cardiac arrest leaving her with no pulse for a short period of time. She's now at Banner Good Samaritan ICU and has been for 3 weeks today.

Our family made the trip to Mission Beach, San Diego on the morning of Thursday, September 11th. Her step-daughter Heather was to be wed on Saturday at a beachside wedding. Jackson seemed fine, everything was going as planned and we rented a beautiful condo right on the beach. Everything was perfect and the weather was amazing! Friday morning we all woke up and made breakfast, ate and hit the beach for a whole day. She even got out and attempted to catch a few waves with her husband Chuck on a boogie board.
Her grandson, her children and husband at the beach was picturesque and it was an amazing day that she will cherish forever. That early evening was the wedding reheasal and dinner so we settled in for the night to get ready for the big day.

Saturday morning was met with coffee and breakfast as we got ourselves together for the wedding that afternoon. Jackson scrambled to get her grandson dressed in his custom tuxedo as he was to be the ring bearer at Heather's request. The wedding was picture perfect and we all laughed and danced at the reception with new and old family alike. Jackson was in great spirits and we all had a fantastic time, it was a memorable night.

Sunday morning we rose early to get the house cleaned and pack up as our check out time was promplty at 10am. We stopped to drop off the tuxedo's and got a bite to eat on the way out of town. Chuck decided to take the scenic route home since we had the entire day to travel, it seemed like a great idea. It was around lunchtime when Jackson said she had not felt so good, she complained of a headache that would not go away. We made one last stop in Blythe for dinner and that's when she mentioned that she forgot to bring her high blood pressure medication for the trip.

We had come across a traffic delay near the town of Perryville and detoured around it. Since we were traveling in two cars we called to see where Jackson, Chuck and Kainoa were at on the highway. She let us know that they would be meeting us at my house off 7th Avenue in downtown Phoenix.

What happened next is something I will never forget as long as I live. We arrived at my home and they were nowhere in sight, we started to unload our vehicle and Jessica's phone rang with Chuck at the other end. Her face immediately told me that it was not good. Chuck instructed her to get to the hospital ER right away, something was happening to our Mother.

My name is Jeremy Arviso and I'm Jackson's only son. She's very important to me and a whole lot of people that she's touched, helped and or healed. She's always been the anchor of our family and now she's in need of our help. With mounting hospital bills and the cost of her care skyrocketing we are asking the community in which she's helped over the many years to donate what you can and spread the word of her critical condition. We ask that you keep her in your thoughts and if you do so, PRAY for her speedy recovery.

I'm listing all of the community work (that I know of) that mother has done for the Valley and abroad with her tenacious work ethic, unbreakable spirit and CAN DO attitude. To her, nothing was impossible, she's the very epitome of a Warrior Woman in this day and age. If you know of other work she's done that's not listed please let us know. It's hard to keep up with everything that she's done, and was still planning to do.
