Supporting Tracey

Donation protected
You know how life has a habit of throwing curve balls and you always hope that it's not aimed at you? Well, our beautiful friend and Uralla's gorgeous, smiley, bubbly parcel lady has had a direct hit. It is times like this when one wishes they had a magic wand to make it all okay, but we don't, so I am setting up this page for Tracey in the hope that some donations might help to ease the stress, so she can concentrate on conquering the big "C". I believe this is a time for friends and communities to band together to support our own. If you can help in any way, please know that it will be so greatly appreciated. Here is her story.
"I worked under Gary the postman and people referred to me as the parcel lady.
On the 5th of May 2016 I found a lump and I went and had a mammogram plus ultrasound and they both came back clear, but because my Dr is so paranoid about breast lumps he told me to go back in 6 months to get re checked. But , because I'm mum's carer I forgot. Then 12 months to the day on the 5th of May 2017 the lump got bigger and sore to touch, so my Dr got the wheels in motion. I found I had two grade three aggressive tumours in my breast. I had a mastectomy on the 16th June which is to be followed by 6 months chemo."
Tracey said that it's ok for me to share, because hopefully it might get more women mindful of how important it is to check your breasts. She also asked me if it was selfish to accept donations. I said "Trace, of course not. Sometimes in life, we need all the help we can get."
